Shouta wished he could say he was surprised when Verdant knocked on his door at three in the morning, but he wasn't. He'd given the vigilante his address for a reason, and no one else would dare to bother him at 'fuck no' o'clock. So when he padded out of bed and opened the door, he expected to see the kid in his dark green jumpsuit, mask pulled over his face and hands on the bo staff he used for a weapon.
What he didn't expect was for the kid to be dripping blood onto his carpet.
