No weary-eyed girl sleeping with a light frown and a pair of green-rimmed glasses for her to chuckle gently at and take off, place it on their nightstand. No certain blonde all curled up on the other side, spooning Marcy’s back like a sloth clinging on a branch. It’s all empty, cold air rattling on her hollow bones, and it’s really fucking uncomfortable when you have a whole king-sized bed filling up most of the space in the room. Like she’d always be incomplete without the other two by her side. A piece but not whole.
OR, Sasha tries to accept the fact that she's loved, Anne tries to deal with her immense fear of losing her lovers, and Marcy tries to accept the fact that she's wanted and needed no matter what.

A pause. Snufkin hesitates, which is very unlike him-- he usually says exactly what he’s thinking. Slowly, carefully, he says, “There are amazing things waiting for me here, too. That’s why I always come back.”
Moomin lays there looking at him, and feels very warm. Like someone poured a cup of tea into his heart, on just the right side of burning. It’s absurdly comfortable, and Moomin is absurdly happy.
Snufkin looks back at him with serious eyes, reaching across the tiny space between them to touch Moomin's face with gentle fingers.
“I’ll always come back,” he says, like it’s a promise.
