It’s easy to avoid her objections when she isn’t fucking there, and easier still to believe that you can weather her judgement and the degradation of your own soul so long as it results in her safety. You would offer yourself to be the villain without hesitation if it meant you could use any and all tools at your disposal to drag your best friend back to this dimension-- you would grind all of your good intentions into the dirt with the pointed heel of your stiletto without a second’s thought just to know she was alive and well. There were no boundaries you would not cross to see her safely home, no darkness you would not pitch yourself willfully into if it meant having her back. No souls you would not sacrifice for hers, including (if not especially) your own. You are more afraid of never seeing Kara again than you are of becoming evil.
