“—she’s dead, I didn’t even know her that well and she’s dead and in my dream I’m so, I’m scared that there’s nothing I can do.” She opens her eyes. “But there really is nothing I can do. She’s already gone, and we left her there.” She stares hard at her hands. “We weren’t really even friends.”

Summary
Callie wasn’t as impulsive as people thought she was. No, no she wasn’t. Or at least- not as much as she self reflected to? She made conscious decisions though, that was her point. Ditzy, she could be sometimes. But when she had her heart on something, it was often with lots of thoughts pre-stewed over backing it up.
So trust her when she says her decision to help Pearl and Marina’s lil ‘metro rehabilitation project’ was definitely not something she jumped immediately on the second it was mentioned as only an IDEA in Marina’s lil chat room and please believe that she very calmly and dignity agreed to the offer instead of spam a bunch of pink heart emojis, key-smashes, yass’s, and at some point a piano emoji cause her thumb slipped.
UNFORTUNATELY, she can’t say the project was moving at top speed, even with her contributions. Zombie speed actually. Pun not intended despite what Marie would say. But that all changes when she meets Dedf1sh. And it changes further, when she Promises that she's going to help her get back to normal.
And luckily there was soon to be an opportunity where she'd do just that.
