Summary

Summary
Izuku’s past is filled with ghosts.
He knows all about what happens in the dark, shadowy dregs of society. As Ghost, a police consultant, it has helped him to solve cases. As Midoriya Izuku, his past is a burden to him, something to ignore. Then he gets into UA and everything in his life seems to decide to not go along with that strategy anymore.
They say ghosts will come back to haunt the living if you don’t deal with them. Turns out that also applies to the people and things from Izuku’s past.
Or: Izuku has a quirk like All For One. Said villain is back at it again with traumatizing children for life. Shouta just desperately wants this kid to trust him.

The woman and the man were arguing. They were standing across from each other in a room that appeared to be a living room. Izuku didn’t pay them much attention as he made his way through the room. It was a common occurrence for a fight to appear here when someone was having relationship troubles. The mind tended to find an outlet for irritations it had acquired during the day but hadn’t been able to rid itself of. When he reached the door he pushed the handle down without much hesitation.
Izuku stepped through the door opening and from one step into the other found himself inside a coffee shop.
OR: Izuku basically has a quirk like the sandman. Oh, and he runs a coffee shop.

The teacher ends her sentence with a sigh, expelling a sense of disappointment together with the air, but Gojo couldn’t feel more proud. He swivels to his ward, a bright smile on his lips. “Did you win?”
Before Megumi can answer, Miss Tanaka clears her throat. She levels Gojo with an exasperated glare. “Three of the four third graders had to be sent to the nurse’s office.”

Summary
The sky was crying.
Dark gray clouds packed together and let the sky weep. Big tears descended upon earth, they fell onto the earth and washed away the years of hardship and sorrow. Dust and debris were cleansed from the sky, purging the air from the years of pollution. Distant fires in the city were extinguished and for the first time since long there was no burning, no destroying.
They had won the war.
But at what cost?

I began writing Reprise in November 2015, after having a hankering for a good time travel AU and then being unable to find one that fit my niche craving. I wrote chapters 1 through 3 as a casual experiment, a kind of character study of Ben Kenobi.
Half a million words and nearly a decade later, here we are.
