Summary
"Eddie has been turning his memories over in his head like they used to sift through rocks at the bottoms of creek beds as children, looking for buried treasure. He doesn’t know what he’s looking for, exactly, but it feels important.
The memories don’t feel twenty-five, thirty years old; they feel fresh, because he just got them back and hasn’t had the opportunity to go over them until they distort and fade. He feels like he could’ve been sixteen yesterday. He didn’t enjoy being sixteen, but he thinks it was better than twenty-six or thirty-six or the years in between.
He’s sorted them into careful categories that mainly revolve around every time Richie ever touched him, and he still hasn’t managed to figure out if it meant anything."
Before everyone leaves Derry for the last time, Richie tells them about the guy he's dating back home in Los Angeles. Eddie feels extremely weird about it and he can't figure out why, because it's definitely not because he's jealous. Obviously it's not that.

Summary
“Ah, Eds, you never disappoint.”
“You can’t say that, we’ve only met, like, three times before today.”
Richie, who had taken his phone out of the pocket of his seasonally-inappropriate leather jacket, and was fully engrossed in texting someone, tsked loudly. “Uh-uh. Four times.”
“No, three.”
“Four. There was JFK, your wedding day, which,” he glanced up, “yikes, that time you stole my taxi—”
“I was running late! And we split the cab!”
Richie waved him off, typing something on his phone. “And...” he trailed off. After a moment he looked up again, “huh, I could’ve sworn there was at least one other time.”
(In which, Richie and Eddie keep running into each other, over and over again, during the 27 years)

Summary
Life after Derry is something of a letdown for Eddie; while his friends make big significant changes to their lives, he's stuck in the 9-5 under Myra's watchful eye - on the outside of the Losers Club looking in.
Sometimes though, all it takes is an incentive to change eveything.Or: Eddie (and Richie) find their way back to being brave, eventually.

Summary
Sometime between Eddie’s first apartment after Myra and his second, he adopted a fucked up looking rat of a dog that Richie thought might be some sort of chihuahua, but with longer, stringy patches of hair. The dog’s name was Rager, and he had a broken front tooth and sometimes had to wear what looked like a wide cloth belt but was actually a diaper, just so that he wouldn’t spontaneously piss all over Eddie’s New York City apartment. The apartment in question cost $2550 a month and absolutely should have housed an art dealer and his two greyhounds, but instead Eddie paid the rent so that Rager could live in style on the Upper East side.
