If Wei Wuxian were an omega, in a world made for everyone else but him, how would his story change?
Clawing his way to the top of the cultivation world, even as a young cultivator, everyone could tell he was special. He was stronger, smarter and ingenious compared to his counterparts. But he was an omega, something that the world would never come to learn if he had anything to say about it. But secrets can't be kept underground forever; people will eventually find out the very thing that would destroy his whole world. The worst part about it was the fact that Lan Wangji had to be the one to find out.
There truly is No such thing as a world without tears.
-Pretty much a rewrite of the original plot, but if it were omegaverse. Some details have been changed.

Summary
It was cold. Hot at the same time. He could hear someone softly speaking to him. Shen Yuan couldn’t make out the words that were being spoken to him but he felt as though he should trust this person. His body felt warm, unnaturally so. A fever? He should be used to those. So why did his body feel like it was experiencing one for the first time? He couldn’t open his eyes. The light hurt too much for him to bear. He curled in on himself, barely noticing how his body was too small to be his. He felt arms envelop him, a hand gently stroking his hair. That’s weird, when did his hair get so long? He doesn’t know. There was a voice humming to him, comforting as he sank back into sleep.

Summary
His mother was his sun.
And all throughout, even as months became years, as he grew to be hailed one of the Twin Jades of Gusu Lan, as he became widely known in the cultivation world and beyond as the Han-Guang-Jun, the Light-Bearer, due to the numerous instances of courage and kindness, fierce rains and storms lashed within his heart, buried under the cold touch of ice.
He did not feel warm enough.
Until the sun rose again in his life, fiercer than before, blinding him with the intensity of a thousand lightning bolts, under the night sky of Gusu, accompanied by sonorous laughter and two casks of Emperor’s Smile.
