Summary
This is based off of the episode “SpongeCano”. When Squidward was about to fall into a volcano, he said he was grateful for SpongeBob. Touched by this, SpongeBob saved him. I decided to write a fanfic about this episode because I didn’t like the fact SpongeBob was completely fine that Squidward “lied” about being grateful for him. As a hardcore SquidBob shipper, we’re obviously excusing that as one of his lies (because he’s shown he actually cares about him), but SpongeBob’s reaction made me feel weird.
So I present to you this fanfic. A fanfic where SpongeBob is hurt by Squidward’s “lies”, and they slowly fall in love. Of course, they’ve already been in love.Bookmarked by Angle_Bear8
