It’s 49 hours in when she meets the spirit for the first time and she feels like maybe its arrival should have been heralded with war drums or screeching violins, but instead all she gets is a second of alarm on Jin’s face as she leans in to stroke his cheek (forgetting that her hand is wet with condensation dripping from her glass of ice water) and that sweet face goes from alarm to a wary stare, so she says the first thing that comes to mind, which is ‘hello there, sweetie, what’s your name?’

Summary
Jiji knows he has more to give everyone, both to his friends and to the spirit possessing him. He wants to do everything he can to be as valuable as possible to everyone around him, so he expands his efforts with some new training that will do just that. It should've only been for him to do on his own, but Aira won't let him mess this up, so she begins supervising his efforts and helping him figure out how he can get better.
It was only meant to be simple training, but it would also help them heal and move on. Jiji now knew he would never have Momo, and it was only a matter of time before Aira would know that she would never have Okarun. They would have no choice but to move forward, and with this and each other, they had something that would allow them to.
And with each other, maybe there was something more that could happen between them. Maybe it would be something beautiful.
