Summary
Coen came to face Ambrus in a duel to the death. Instead, he spared his life. Now betrayed by his own men and hunted by Bakir, Ambrus finds himself bound to the very man who nearly killed him - while Coen is forced to rely on one of Brencis' most dangerous servants if he has any hope of saving his family.
What begins as an uneasy alliance soon becomes something far more complicated.

Summary
New Vrahkir abilities go wrong. Carefully made plans go worse. Ambrus keeps turning up at the worst possible moment, Brencis remains regrettably difficult to avoid, and even Coen's attempts to kill them have an unfortunate habit of becoming unwanted lessons, near-death experiences, or something dangerously close to family bonding.
A collection of loosely connected one-shots chronicling Coen's increasingly impressive run of bad luck, stubborn decisions, mishaps, and ongoing failure to have one normal night.

Summary
Coen only meant to learn how to become a shadowwolf. Getting stuck as one every night was not part of the plan...
But Coen would rather spend every night on four legs than admit he needs help from Brencis or, God forbid, Ambrus. So he stubbornly carries on with his rebellion instead. Unfortunately, after enough dead soldiers, escaped prisoners, and ruined operations, Ambrus begins to suspect that the enormous black wolf terrorizing Brencis's men has a little too much in common with a certain topknot-wearing young Vrahkir.
