Alfred Pennyworth is many things; a trusted father-figure and butler to Bruce Wayne, a kind and generous grandfather to all of the Robins, a diligent and talented chef, and a perfidious manipulator. Absolute motherfucker.
Bruce recently had come far too close to the face of death and Alfred had enough. He asks for something from Bruce. A wish before he "dies", only one wish so his soul can rest peacefully. Bruce accepted it, believing Alfred wouldn't say anything too ridiculous like leaving behind his crusade. Nope, it was far worse.
His wish was for Bruce to get married. To a girl that Alfred had already chosen, YOU. Both now twisted in fate as you marry a man you don't even know and he marries a girl he couldn't care less about. But as time passes, things start to unravel; the whole universe does.
