Summary
Where the fuck was Kaeya Alberich? Albedo sighed and checked his watch one more time. 32 minutes late. Absolutely unacceptable. He was going to have to give the soon-to-be prince a stern reprimanding when he did arrive.
Albedo looked down again at the papers set in front of him. He was supposed to be teaching Kaeya, who had recently discovered his royal lineage, the manners and habits of a royal. With the most elegant manners of the entire noble court, he had been, unwillingly, called upon to fill this role.
The door swung open and Albedo turned around in annoyance, mouth open in preparation, but he stopped.
Kaeya Alberich was the most beautiful person he had ever seen in his entire life, and Albedo had seen a lot of very pretty people.

Diluc looked surprised. He’d only expected another nod or shrug, not a verbal response. Kaeya’s expression remained calm, but as Diluc watched him tears welled up in his eyes.
“He left.”
The two boys sat there in the dark for a long time as tears streamed down his face, only partially hidden underneath his hair.

Summary
A recent uptake of Abyss Order activity has Kaeya concerned they are planning to take out the Darknight Hero. While attempting to help his brother, Kaeya inadvertently makes himself their target. As the Abyss order uses Kaeya to lure out the Darknight hero, Diluc and the knights have to fight against the clock to save him. All the while Diluc is forced to face his misconceptions about Kaeya and take an honest look at his relationship with his brother.
