Summary
Zhou Zishu reflects sadly on the reality of the Nails of Seven Torments and the pain that is thusly inflicted on a lovesick Wen Kexing several months after their reveal and after the restoration of the Four Seasons Manor. Now in a safer place, Zhou Zishu takes a risk and guiltily confesses his love to Wen Kexing in an attempt to apologize, only to find his feelings reciprocated tenfold.

The 13th Prince Zhou Zi Shu has been outcast his whole life, his mother a lowly concubine, died giving birth to him. He later adopted by the Empress out of pity, his older brother is the Crown Prince, the son of the Empress. However, as a Kunze he always maintains low profile in the palace.
One day the neighbouring nation got attacked by the Wei Kingdom, the Black Emperor ruling, said the cruellest Qianyuan known, conquering surrounding country by blood. All his Empress dies the next day after their wedding, rumour said the Black Emperor kill them as sacrifice.
To save their country, Zhou Zi Shu father, the heartless Yellow Emperor, offering his only Kunze Prince as peace offering to the Black Emperor, regardless of what his fate in the future. The marriage proposal in announced to whole country, and the Kunze Prince is cited as the most pitiful prince, courting death.
However, on the night of his supposed wedding, Zhou Zi Shu ran away leaving the country in chaos.
The Black Emperor is chasing his bride, whom he believes destined as his fated mate.
They met again with different identities, and secrets in their heart.
This game of wolf and rabbit chase, who will win in the end?

What would it be like to top Wen Kexing? This question has been, much to his exasperation, haunting Zhou Zishu lately. It's gotten so bad, he can barely look Wen Kexing in the eye without thinking about it. The resultant two-week dry spell has Zhou Zishu blushing at the slightest allusion to sex, despite the absolutely ungodly things they've done with each other. When Wen Kexing finally convinces Zhou Zishu to tell him what's on his mind, Zhou Zishu finds himself met with an unexpectedly understanding response. Not only is Wen Kexing willing to let Zhou Zishu top him... he's willing to teach him how to do it.
