Taehyung’s heart aches in a way he’s become all too familiar with over the last few years, longing for something that seems like it’s almost in his grasp but just out of reach, like he can’t quite close his fingers around it. It’s love, he knows that now, has known for a while. He’s always cared about Jimin, for a long time has loved him in a way, but this is different.
This is love in a way that consumes him, that he can’t think about anything except Jimin when they’re together, and can barely do much else when they’re apart. He wants to breathe Jimin in at every opportunity, to be immersed in everything about him, and it’s absolutely crushing to know that he can’t have it.
