Summary
Neuvillette and Wriothesley have been trying for a baby after a year and a half into their marriage. But when one particular night at work following a rough couple of work days, Neuvillette feels a sharp, never ending pain in his abdomen and blood seeps his way through the crotch of his pants…Neuvillette had just miscarried from a baby he didn’t even know he was pregnant with.
How will Neuvillette and Wriothesley deal with the heartbreak from the death of their unborn child? Especially when incident after incident come at them full force. Well, at least they have each other (and Sigewinne of course because she's carrying this whole story). Where there is love and tranquility, there is also hardship and sorrow.
