Summary
“Marlboro Gold today?” Oscar questions, looking expectantly at the man in front of him.
He holds them between his thumb and forefingers, a touch of a smile still adorning his lips. “Nice of you to remember,” the man quips, giving the Aussie a small grin before placing his favoured brand of mint chewing gum down on the counter. “The usual too.”
“I figured as much.” Oscar couldn’t help how his lips turned up as he spoke to his favourite customer, still only known currently as ‘Gum Guy’, though not for lack of trying.
or: Oscar works in retail and has a crush on Max who buys way too much chewing gum

Summary
As his fingers grip the cold handle of his blade, his arm raised over his head, the other hand holding onto Leclerc’s shoulder, about to drive his silver blade into the tan skin—that’s when he notices an unusually familiar mark glinting at him—as if mocking him. Max swallows harshly, shaking his head; no, that is not possible. It must be a trick of the light, yes, that is it! He resumes, just wanting to be done with this now, raising his arm again—only to find his hands trembling at the action, unable to drive the blade into his target.
Fuck no.
No.
No no no no no—
His shaking hand pulls the robe apart, properly this time, coming face to face with a very peculiar but exact same mark he has on his inner thigh.
Charles Leclerc is his soulmate.
Or Max is an assassin sent to kill the Ferrari heir, only to discover his target is his soulmate. Devastated by the reveal, he runs away, or at least tries to—knowing there is no refuge back home. But Charles Leclerc is not easy prey to shake; once he finds out someone almost got to him, he won't rest until he finds the truth. And so begins the hunt.

Summary
> For all of us Lestappen fans, and for the love of racing. <
"The most important things are the hardest things to say. They are things you get ashamed of, because words diminish them—words shrink things that seemed limitless when they were in your head to no more than living size when they're brought out. But it's more than that, isn't it? The most important things lie too close to wherever your secret heart is buried, like landmarks to a treasure your enemies would love to steal away. And you make revelations that cost you dearly only to have people look at you in a funny way, not understanding what you have said at all, or why you thought it was so important that you almost cried while you were saying it. That's the worst, I think. When the secret stays locked within not for want of a teller but for want of an understanding ear.” - The Body by Stephen King
Will Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc ever be able to accept and express what they really feel for each other?
"Anything can happen in Formula 1, and it usually does." - Murray Walker
