It’s not haunted by fragments of things left behind in past loops, in your memories, or in other pieces of you torn away from their home and tethered here by the stars. It’s no longer broken, failing, rotting away with the sickening smell of burnt sugar.

The air is crisp, the birds cry out, the tree above you waves gently in the wind, and you are alive.
