    Shen Qingqiu feels the moment Luo Binghe is about to surge against him, and immediately grabs Luo Binghe’s face with one hand. He squishes Luo Binghe’s cheeks, holding him still as he draws back.

    “Shizun,” Luo Binghe complains, but Shen Qingqiu squeezes his fingers tighter. It makes Luo Binghe’s lips push out like a puckered fish.

    “I am trying to teach you something,” Shen Qingqiu says, his ears growing hot. “Please pay attention.”

    “This disciple begs your pardon,” Luo Binghe’s voice is muffled in Shen Qingqiu’s iron grip. “But he would like to know what he is learning, so that he can take the appropriate notes.”
