Tommy visits his family one last time
OR
Sweat is rapidly escaping his pores and he feels like he's about to hurl. There's nothing in his stomach, but it doesn't stop the feeling.
"You alright, mate?" Philza raises an eyebrow in concern for the boy, and Tommy wants to scream because he misses that concern so much. He's trying to speak but his throat is so dry and he feels his stomach swirling with nausea and his vision is blurring and— fuck. He's definitely going to pass out soon.
"Awesome," He manages to croak out before going limp.

Summary
Perhaps Tommy should have told Phil about his arguably life-threatening injury the minute his father had opened the door. But of course, Tommy being Tommy, did not.
Dying seemed like a nice enough option as long as he was with his family.
-
Tommy just wanted acceptance, forgiveness, and peace. He wanted to close his eyes for the last time and finally be able to let go.
