Mark manages to fall asleep after a few minutes just staring at the ceiling. Next time he wakes up it’s almost 4pm and something tingles his feelings, making his stomach flip.
With a groan he blinks a few times, feeling another sticky puddle under his thighs. It feels so gross, he wants to suffocate himself in the pillow, but his brain finally catches something.
It’s so weak and a bit sweet, it’s a scent.
Mark flips his head to the side, noticing something new on his nightstand. A pile of a few colourful tees, a hoodie and a little sticky note.

“Jaemin-ah. Can I give you a hug?”
Jaemin hesitates before answering—he doesn’t want Jeno close to his scent glands, where he will no doubt smell the peaches. But the omega inside of him and his instincts make him nod.
Jeno engulfs him into a hug, avoiding his neck and instead burying his face in his hair. It’s a subtle gesture which holds enough weight to make Jaemin feel the bridge of his nose sting.
It’s hard to ignore, and it’s inevitable at this point—something inside of Jaemin tells him that Jeno knows.
Or,
Jaemin is an omega adopted into a family of alphas, forced into the stereotypical alpha mould after presenting. When he moves out and meets a sweet alpha named Jeno, his inner omega begs to come out.

Johnny swallows down the bile in his throat because he’s well aware of what hunters do to hybrids. “Why are you asking?”
Jaehyun pokes at the fire pit, pouting in the dim lighting when Johnny doesn’t give him a straight answer. “The pack leader said there was one sniffing around and then she said it wouldn’t matter because cats like me aren’t special.”
“They hunt hybrids like us, the ones who ran away,” the black cat explains quietly. “They’re dangerous, you don’t want to run into one.”
