Cats he's never met, who he can never remember properly upon waking up, but who feel as real and important as anything else in his life. He's willing to do whatever it takes to figure out what these dreams mean, even if it means abandoning his old life for a new one in the wild.

Summary
Longtail despises Fireheart. He hates how this cat has become so successful. He hates how he can’t measure up to him.
But when Fireheart comes into camp looking a complete mess, Longtail can’t let that slide. If Fireheart’s going to be deputy, the least he could do is look presentable.
