Summary
D3rLord3 and Avery lead a peaceful life as miis in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. Then, D3rLord3 discovers that the player has created a mii that is kept in isolation in the lighthouse, away from all other people. Out of concern, he chooses to communicate with the lighthouse keeper in secret, and Avery quickly joins in. What they find is that their new lighthouse Keeper friend is an incredibly naive nervous wreck who struggles to form their own identity. With the player as a constant looming threat above their heads, (literally) the two debate how much they're willing to sacrifice for their little buddy. And the keeper themself is unsure whether they can trust their new friends, or if the player was right to keep them all alone.
IF YOU'RE CONFUSED AND NEED CONTEXT ON THE LIGHTHOUSE KEEPER:
They're not my oc. They're a mii created by the artist Polypawz, which gained a small fandom. Poly having D3rLord3 meet them is what inspired this whole fic. The player character, as described in the fic, is TECHNICALLY Polypawz, but I'm NOT modeling their behaviors after the real person. -
