    Sephiroth hires a bodyguard for Cloud in fear of retaliation from two members of Midgar's Elite. One of them just so happens to be Genesis's ex-boyfriend who ruined his singing career out of jealousy. And yet Genesis is forced to revisit his past due to his ex-boyfriend's lingering interest in Cloud. The constant issues arising in the polycule's lives will test their bond as they work hard to overcome these new challenges.

    (Or, in other words, a remix of FFVII, in which Sephiroth turns toward the truth in hopes of finding freedom, in which Aerith tries to become a Cetra her mother would be proud of, in which Zack strives to achieve his dream of becoming a hero, and in which Cloud, once again, just ends up saving the world).
