    Summary

It’s been two months (two months and ten days, but who’s counting), and while Anthony has found some relief in not returning to that office, he also feels less like he’s chasing freedom and more like he’s running from something.

It’s been two months and they haven’t talked.

He cleans himself up in the bathroom without looking himself in the eye in the mirror, then grabs his empty journal, goes downstairs, and writes.

it takes years, and things don't fall into place, but, slowly, they grow together again.

    Summary

In flashes of laughter, whispered confessions, and a breathless first kiss, Thursday comes back to Ian piece by piece.
He can still feel Anthony close to him, and the heartbreak that followed.
As the memories settle, Ian realises that love, once awakened, doesn’t disappear… even when everything else goes wrong.

Ian realises he’s missing a full night from his memory, and somehow never questioned it. That forgotten Thursday turns out to be the wildest night of his life.
Fortunately, Barney the bartender remembers everything and is willing to walk Ian through the chaotic, and surprisingly romantic, events.

    Summary

"As a kid, Anthony remembers running laps with Ian. Trying to help him train for cross-country, following him around and annoying him. Running until they were both sweating in places they didn't even know existed. Until they were nearly dying of heatstroke, out of breath, shaking."

Twenty or so years later, not much has changed. Anthony still runs by Ian's side. Only, he now gets to be a bit more careless with his affection.
