Wei Wuxian looks away, hiding a small smile. Doesn’t he know Lan Wangji would do anything for him, by now? Doesn’t he understand that he holds Lan Wangji’s life in his hands?

“Wei Ying,” Lan Zhan greets when he finds the man in his room looking out the open window. He sets the liquor down and says nothing in response to Wei Ying’s surprised exclamation, he simply pours him his first cup and hands it over, pouring for him again when he’s downed it. He can’t keep his eyes off of him.
Against all odds, Wei Ying is here. He’s alive. Beautifully, gloriously, miraculously alive, and Lan Zhan will never take that for granted for a single minute.
“Wei Ying,” he says again as the man reaches for the whole jar and something in his tone seems to give him pause.
“Lan Zhan? What’s wrong?” he asks with the jar halfway to his mouth and there’s such open concern in those eyes that Lan Zhan can’t help but fall into him.

"The first is that after the war ends, I want every servant, maid, healer and remnant of the wen sect delivered to me" he put his first finger up before continuing " The second is that I want to have access to Wen's library and it's possessions and before you look at me wrong, no I won't keep them only to myself, I will just re-write the contents before giving it to you" Both points are fairly reasonable and easy to fullfill. People around him start to slowly relax thinking the third will be surely affordable too.

Xiao Xingchen sits on an elevated floor in a teahouse. It seems even the staff at this mundane establishment could tell he was no normal man, that this soul belonged nowhere on the ground with the rest of the common folk. He should have always been treated like this.
He’s wearing his beautiful white robes that wrap around his frame and then billow at his sleeves, Xue Yang catches glimpses of his narrow waist as he lifts a cup to his lips. He’s not wearing that oversized outer layer that hides that figure under loose fabric. His sword is not wrapped with white cloth, as it was in his past life, and instead lay delicately beside him and the silver shines in full glory against the sunlight.
Xue Yang can’t move from the entrance, because Xiao Xingchen looks more perfect than he had ever remembered.
