Summary

The Water God demanded a sacrifice. And the one he’d chosen as his ‘bride’ was none other than Shi Wudu’s infant brother.
“He has been chosen,” the priest explained. “But the Water God has no taste for infants; in ten years, he’ll demand his bride.”
“Ten years…” Shi Wudu repeated thoughtfully.
There would be no escaping this. Even with a ten year reprieve, they couldn’t run, couldn’t hide. The kingdom existed only as long as the Water God was appeased—now that the bride had been chosen, the palace would have people watching them. And even if they could flee from their mortal watchers, the Water God had marked his bride and would be able to find him anywhere. The child was now his.
But because the kingdom existed if the Water God was appeased, the family of the sacrifice would receive royal favor; Shi Wudu’s life would be one of riches and ease and all he had to do was throw his brother into the ocean.
Could he sacrifice his little brother?
No.
But could he sacrifice someone else?
He had ten years to find a perfect substitute.

Summary
Kiri isn’t able to save Spider in the forest, devastated, she thinks Eywa failed her, but in reality they did something more.
Or Eywa’s blessing is beyond comprehension. Spider turns Na’vi not understanding how and tries his best to function in a new body while everyone else just assumes he’s fully dead.
Oh and for some reason he keeps picking up parents like Pokemon. Suddenly everyone wants to be his family!

Summary
To understand why Spider saved him. She was with the demon for months. Months and no one came. It made her feel something she did not know. So when Neteyam and Lo’ak came for her. Neteyam was shot and almost died because of his cruelty. It broke something; maybe she wanted her eyes to be the last thing he sees. She followed in Neytiri’s footsteps just like in the last battle. Constant nightmares and headaches. It sickens her. It sickens her so badly that she has a seizure and wounds and is sent back to High Camp. Jake made that choice, and Spider is sick of it. Sick of people making choices for her while she was in pain. A gift was planted. A nightmare returns. A war orphan runs in the dead of the night to find the source of the pain of her entire life and to try and end it, along with her, in the middle of it.

In retrospect making the fact that they were in a relationship extremely obvious wasn’t a good idea, but they were both so worried about the other they didn’t think.
She clung on tightly, not wanting to let go, “I’m fine. Are you?”
“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine.”
“Would you look at that, we got ourselves a pair of love birds.” The prisoner who’d been upfront chuckled, “Isn’t that ideal.”

Buck navegates life at the 118 the best he can all things considered, like the way Eddie is acting weird and giving him the cold shoulder, again. His relationship with his boyfriend is the least of his worries. Then things get nasty real fast and he's left reeling with the realization of what Tommy is capable of when all his bottons have been pressed.
“Should I remind you who your actual boyfriend is, Evan?”
“Now what’s that supposed to mean?” Buck gestures wildly with his hands, outraged. He goes to stand up and Tommy follows suit, and now both are looking at each other with different levels of ferocity. Buck’s got to say Tommy is winning this one though, he looks one step away from bursting the vein on his neck.
“Don’t play dumb. You’re obsessed with the guy, with playing happy family with him. You even facetime his kid a couple of times a week. It’s fucking creepy.”

The only area that seemed to be the least threatening was the area where the bodies of the Dreamwalkers slept. But what happens when a stranger sneaks up on her. And not just any stranger, a child. A sky child. And here's the thing. He's not wearing a mask. How is this possible?

We all know the beginning of the story. The Battle of the Halleluiah Mountains has ended. Jake Sully, the sixth Toruk Makto brought victory to the Na'vi clans. The Sky People fled back to Earth, except for the friends of the Navi, with Selfridge leaving an ominous message. But things diverge from the story you know to come after. How? Well, for one Neytiri will not shun Spider. Let us see how things play out in this alternate way things will take place. Some things will be the same, others different. Only way to know what is different is to read and find out.
This story is rated mature, because I will have some more mature themes show up at a later point in the story, but I have not chosen exactly when, so I am playing it safe. Constructive criticism welcome.
