Summary
Caine's first attempt at a trust exercise fell flat on its face. And that's being nice since not even 5 minutes after trying to start said exercise, the Circus members became wild animals, shooting each other for fun. But not to worry, this time he was gonna get it right! No guns! No way for the members to benefit from hurting each other! They had to truly, completely trust each other as each duo tried navigating a maze, where Character A was completely fine, but didn't know where to go. And Character B was blind, mute, and unable to move on their own, but knew the exact way out of the maze! Simple! Easy! Trustworthy!
Nothing could go wrong!...that is.... of course...
Unless Character B had a history of hurting and tormenting Character A. And now Character B was at the complete and total whims of Character A.
And maybe, juuuust maybe... Character A was named Ragatha, and Character B was named Jax. -

Summary
Caine has finally realized perhaps adventures with horror, pain and torture aren't... particularly liked. But he can't have an adventure with no stakes or the chance of failure! So Caine decides to take the troupe to the one place where technically they can't get hurt, but also can lose absolutely everything: VEGAS, BABY!!! (or, the circus equivalent of it, aka, THE LEVEL UP CASINO). And the idea is, actually well received!
Ragatha and Pomni go on a cute date. With the former realizing the latter becomes a completely different beast when drunk.
Zooble and Gangle try to enjoy the night, but get stopped when they feel like something illegal is going on with a duo of NPCs.
And Jax discovers his one, true, love.... GAMBLING!!!(Now with a bonus chapter!!)

Ever since Ragatha explained to Pomni how "maintaining low stress levels can prevent Abstraction". Couple that with the fact Pomni clearly enjoyed Ragatha's body... you can tell where their relationship went from there.
...well, could you? Because not even Ragatha seemed to know where their relationship stood, were they still getting to know each other? Were they together? Were they just friends with benefits? Or hell, were they even friends? Or were they just using each other to "maintain low stress levels" as she put it?
Ragatha didn't know, and the thought is eating away at her. -

Pomni was certain love, or even lust was impossible to occur in this so called circus. Everyone there was too cartoony to realistically be considered attractive. Plus, Caine said something about the Circus being for 'all-ages', so it was probably physically impossible to get horny in any way...
...and then Ragatha just HAD to enter Zooble's bar with that goddamn black dress-
