Unable to keep the blush from rising on his face, Megumi pouts and glances away from Sukuna’s gaze. “…Yeah.”
Sukuna doesn’t look disturbed or disgusted. He looks… thoughtful.
“You found an alpha yet?” he asks.
It’s hard for Megumi to resist rolling his eyes. “Obviously not. I don’t exactly have a line of alphas outside my door eager to bitch me. Besides… I don’t just… trust anyone with something like that.”
Sukuna hums again, fingers drumming against the armrest. His gaze is unreadable and assessing. “Yeah, I figured as much.”
Megumi crosses his arms, shifting uncomfortably under Sukuna’s scrutiny. “What’s with the interrogation? What does it matter to you?”
Sukuna doesn’t answer right away. Instead, he leans back, tilting his head as if debating something. Then, he smirks, completely disarming Megumi as he flashes him those sharp canines. Perfect for claiming. “I could do it.”
