“So, who’s here? And,” Chris adds when Adrian sucks in a breath, and allows himself to roll his eyes, “don’t say no one.”
Adrian sulks up at him, but he also steps back, and holds the door open in invitation. “You’re not allowed to be mad about this, though. Because it seems like something you’d get mad about, and I don’t want you to be mad.”
Well, if that isn’t ominous as fuck. “Why d’you think I’d be—oh, fuck no!”
From the other side of the living room, arms crossed over his chest, Adrian—another Adrian glowers at Chris. “Fuck you.”
[Or; Adrian brings himself from the Nazi dimension back to their Evergreen. Somehow, against all fucking odds, it actually ends up working out for Chris. In more ways than one. Well, two ways, because there's two Adrians now.]

Stopping her fumbling with the back of her bra, Laura had peered at Chris and laughed softly. “I mean—” She unclipped her bra from the hooks and held it out to Chris with a straight arm, shaking it gently. “Do you want to give it a go?” She peeled off her underwear and took a few steps closer to where Chris was sitting almost completely still on the bed. “They might get a little bit stretched out; you’re way bigger than me, but you can keep them afterwards. I’ve got more panties in my bag. I don’t really need the bra.”
Chris reared back. He hadn’t meant to, but it happened as soon as Laura was close enough that her knees brushed up against his. But her face didn’t fall. She didn’t look disappointed that he had flinched; she just held both articles of clothing and raised her eyebrows. “I’m not forcing you, Chris. It was just a question.”

Chris' ex-girlfriend had thought he was worthy of soft exploration, something he was completely new to, but now they were over and he was left with an underwear set that fit him perfectly and nobody to wear it for. Well. Except for maybe Adrian.
