Summary
He looks back up a moment later and realizes he’s not the only one who’s paying attention to you. A young woman has approached you, leaning into your space and batting her eyelashes up at you. You’re looking down at her with a quirked eyebrow and a slight downturn to your mouth. It’s the expression you make when you’re supremely unimpressed with something, typically one of Phillip’s shadows that’s done something particularly stupid.
Phillip’s moving before you even have a chance to shake her hand off your arm, sliding between you and her and forcing her to either take her hand away or have it knocked away.
”Sorry, sweetheart,” he drawls, not particularly sorry. “He’s already taken.”
”Oh yeah? By who?” She challenges him with a pout. “I don’t see a girlfriend anywhere.”
“By me.” Phillip sneers.

Summary
The task force just finished a mission – but it was too close a call for Captain Price, and so he has organised a bit of downtime for the team to unwind and get into shape again. After collecting the teams' input, Price is working out the holes they painfully figured out on their last mission, trying to now optimise and stabilise the team further. He's almost drowned himself in what-if scenarios when he gets a call from Laswell telling him she's willing to lend him her favourite knife.

It's a reader insert, but Reader is male. I'm not confident enough in my English that I would be able to keep it gender neutral for the whole amount of texts I have planned, and I'd hate to make someone feel uncomfortable with the wrong pronouns. So I chose Male!Reader because that seems to be a bit more uncommon and so... This is for all the male Reader x CoD fans that sometimes get the short end of the stick. Reader has no name, but he has a call sign. Also, Roach is very much alive in my world, and so is Soap.
Canon? I don't know her, your honour.
There will be boys finding boys pretty in this story.
