They didn't think, at this point, that they'd ever again have to make an example of a spouse that was getting a little too comfortable taking liberties with their grace. In hindsight, that was silly of them. Narinder remembers living the selfish existence of a god. He still loves like one, in many ways. But that time is past.
It does give them some good ideas, though. The Lamb, too, knows how to love like a god.
