Summary

Shona looks up from her laptop and blinks, “With me?” Her glasses are her older ones, she lost her newest pair a week ago, even though Charlotte is positive they’re in a case under her bed. Her actual bed, in her own apartment, and not anywhere here in Charlotte’s even though Shona spent twenty minutes looking for them.
“What?” Charlotte startles. Shona’s face slips into a grin and Charlotte closes her own laptop. Her legs are stretched out across Shona’s lap, Shona’s laptop over her calves. She shifts slightly and one of Shona’s hands curls over her ankle.
