Oh. Lois feels a tide of embarrassment rising in her throat. She plants a hand on his shoulder and tries to shove him away, but he’s solid as a rock. Obviously.
“That’s okay. We can skip me, and just move on to the main event.”
From the way his brow creases, she knows it was the wrong thing to say. “What?”
or Lois Lane thinks she's too high maintenance in the bedroom, and Clark Kent corrects that.

Lois Lane has never been a patient person.
Not for anything. Not for the coffee maker to brew up the slop she forces herself to drink, not for the copious amounts of sugar she drowns the shit in to dissolve, not while waiting for Perry to approve a story, not while stuck in traffic, and really anything that requires an ounce of patience.
What she didn't expect to be impatient about was a relationship.
(Basically, Lois falling in love with Clark against her will.)
