Meeting his now (then?) 11-year-old twin brother is not part of the plan either.

Izuku was, admittedly, not having a good day. Things hadn’t started well that morning when, in his rush to get to school on time he stubbed his toe on the corner of the wall. Izuku should’ve seen the sign for what it was and just crawled back into bed and peacefully slept the day away. He had not, however, and from there it was just one thing after another.
Or Izuku has a shit day, gets hurt, and gains a family.
