Summary
Bruce hated online meetings for a lot of reasons, one he hated the lag when one spoke, two he did not live alone and his kids would definitely bother him during the meeting. But he was benched for broken ribs and none of his prison breaks worked. So he would be forced to have three meetings online. He hoped it would go well and his kids would leave him alone. But really had there ever been a reality when they do not bother him during meetings.

Summary
Sergio Ramos meets Luka Modrić in Geneva in 2006 and decides one conversation is not enough.
They spend the World Cup texting from separate camps, and when Germany ends, neither of them stops. Madrid and Zagreb turn their friendship into late-night calls, impossible schedules and whatever hours they can steal together between matches, until neither of them can keep pretending it is only friendship.
They are twenty, Catholic, closeted, and terrified of what being together could cost them. Every time Luka thinks they should stop, Sergio is the one who convinces him they can make it work.
Until, eventually, Sergio is the one who stops believing it.
Years later, football puts Luka in front of him again. Sergio wants another chance. Luka remembers exactly what happened the first time he gave him one.
