Summary
In 7th grade Red Fell moves to a new city, which means a new school and trying to fit in all over again. Unfortunately for him the only person who's not trying to shove him into lockers or steal his lunch is a nerdy little skeleton that Red wants nothing to do with. But when they get paired together for a science project, an unlikely friendship develops.
Throughout the years, they grow closer. Sans helps Red discover things about himself and together they conquer high school.
But then it's time to grow up, and sometimes growing up means growing apart. For Sans it seems to be no big deal, but Red can't seem to let Sans go.

Summary
Dr. Sans Serif has been chosen to conduct an expedition to a newly discovered planet. There's a lot riding on this expedition; what Sans finds on this new planet could change the course of life on Earth.
It’s a six week journey aboard a ship that is crewed largely by minimum risk offenders looking to trade labor for a commuted sentence that are kept in line by a group of soldiers led by Commander Red Gaster. At first the Commander seems to see Sans as nothing more than an assignment, someone he was charged with keeping out of harm’s way both aboard the ship and at their destination. But as they get to know each other, Sans is determined to win him over, though he needs to do it without losing focus on what he's come this far to achieve.
