Summary
Clive and Jill were once inseparable, their bond as tight as the strings on Jill's childhood ice skates. But life, with its cruel twists, tore them apart when Jill left for college and Clive was swept into the whirlwind of military service. Despite the distance, their connection endured. Yet, on a night that would forever change them, Jill stood beneath the dazzling lights of the Valisthean stage, her skates carving stories on the ice and in his heart.

Summary
Dreams demand sacrifice.
For Jill Warrick, that sacrifice has been long nights, broken relationships, and betting everything on a bakery that might never succeed. For Clive Rosfield, it's bruises, broken bones, and fighting for a permanent place in the VHL.
Neither expects their paths to cross. Neither expects a simple exchange to change everything.
