2D had no idea how he ended up here.
One minute, he was in his hotel in Beirut, wondering what had happened in his life to lead up to that point. The next, he was jolting awake in a speeding car, next to an ex-bandmate he hadn't seen in three years, while a homicidal robot loomed silently in the back.
This was honestly one of the least exciting things to happen to him.

Summary
Stanford Pines was a man who rarely showed weakness. Years of inter dimensional travel and watching his friends and comrades die proved that weakness would only get him killed.
Even now, having just escaped from Bills torture, he was determined not to show weakness. He would hide his injuries from his family and shut them out, no matter how badly they begged to be let in. He just wanted to keep them safe and oblivious to what Bill was truly capable of.
Too bad Bill wasn’t so willing to let his plaything get what he wants.
OR
What if Ford was able to escape from Bill while being tortured during weirdmageddon? How would the Pines react when they find out what Bill did to him?

“Did I do something wrong?” Mike questions, mouth twisted in a frown, eyes less wide than they were a few moments ago, sleepiness gone. His arms stay at his sides, although his fingers fiddle with his sleeves. “What did I do wrong?”
Will frowns back. “You didn’t do anything wrong.”
Mike doesn’t look like he believes him. Will doesn’t blame him. “Then why do you keep leaving?”
The world ends, and then some. Mike and Will find each other again, amidst the debris and distance.
