Tobio cannot for the life of him understand what the fuck is going on.
When he left his home for the serenity of nature he hadn’t expected to have to deal with a stalker, of all things, in the middle of the damn woods.
How, pray tell, did someone manage to find him all the way out here?
And why on Earth are they leaving him offerings every night?That feeling of being watched, followed by his wolf barking insistently towards the darkness between the trees with his tail between his legs.
What could scare a wolf like that?
Following the death of his grandfather, frictions in the Kageyama household are at an all time high. Tobio, wrung out by life, grief and guilt decides to chase the promised solitude of the forest. He goes on a mission to create a cabin in the woods for himself, and it's all going well... until it isn't.
Nightly visits, eyes in the bushes and unexplainable phenomena make him anxious to find whoever is disrupting his peace.
Is it a ghost? A stalker? Is he going insane?Or is it something altogether different?
Something older than the forest itself.
