Summary
“Bucky,” he whined, the third time Jarvis had said they couldn’t go to the rooftop garden because it wasn’t safe. Like safe how? Were they afraid they’d both jump? That Bucky would suddenly become a different person and throw Jason over the edge? At this point, he might welcome it. Except for the part where he went splat. “I hate it here,” he said as he leaned into Bucky’s body.
“I know, pal.” Bucky ran his hands through Jason’s hair, picking apart any knots in his curls. “They’re gonna have to let us out eventually.”
“Sergeant Barnes, Mr Todd is allowed to leave at any time,” Jarvis said. “It is you that is not permitted.”
Jason glared up at the ceiling, resting his chin on Bucky’s stomach. “One, no one invited you into this conversation. Two, if Bucky can’t leave, I’m not leaving, and three, fuck off.”
“Jaybug, remember how we’re trying not to curse.”
He stuck his tongue out. “Butt out,” he said to the ceiling instead.

Summary
After the world forgot him, Peter kept fighting. He was Spider-Man after all. But as the villains get worse and the heroes dwindle, Peter finally grows tired. Hasn't he done his time? He's never once shirked the responsibility forced upon him. Never once has he put himself first.
Eventually, the straw breaks the camel's back. Peter finally hangs up the cape.
Unfortunately the universe seems to disagree. When Peter wakes up in Gotham he knows he should probably find a way home. But what's the point? Normal people don't find their way home across the multiverse, and Peter is normal now. He refuses to be anything else.
So why do unfamiliar heroes keep ending up on his doorstep? And can he really turn them away?

Summary
With Kang's army winning along with part of the universe collapsing in on itself you’d think Peter would feel less guilty for dying. He fought with colleagues and friends and watched so many of them die. So when Strange said he would send one of them back in time since the universe was dying anyway he didn't think it was going to be him. With him bleeding out so much and in too much pain to even comprehend what Strange was saying, then he blinked and it was over ten years earlier.
