Summary
Its been a year since the overlords defeat, and Ninjago is slowly rebuilding. The ninja have quietly returned to their lives, waiting for the next threat to rise and beg for their attention. Everyone has seemingly moved on, albeit a little on edge. Nya however, has yet to recover from the Dark matter she was exposed to. Truthfully, not everyone has, and that is something that's being overlooked by Wu and many others. So when a mysterious women offers to help Kai cure his sister, and possible the rest of Ninjago, who is he to pass up this opportunity. It may however, be a little more then he bargained for. Now the ninja are reunited to face a new threat, one who is oddly familiar.

An AU where Bloom and Valtor switched sides.
Bloom was stolen as an infant when Domino fell. Daphne failed to save her sister. Though King Oritel imprisoned the Ancestral Witches with his legendary sword, baby Bloom was trapped with them in the Obsidian Circle. Raised in that hollow wasteland, her Dragon Flame corrupted by primordial darkness, she became Cloud Tower's most dangerous protégée—a weapon forged to destroy Oritel's sword, free her masters, and claim the power they promised was hers.

Note: This is set in an AU where Kai was kidnapped at a young age by Chen, and raised alongside Skylor. He’s recovering from injuries from his near death after he pushed Nya away from Chen and melted the staff with his bare hands. The ninja have welcomed him to the ship, but he’s a scarred man, and doesn’t trust anyone as far as he can throw em.
