Summary
"I will stay."
Murtagh's promise to Nasuada is not in The Ancient Language. It isn't even a proper oath. But it binds him as firmly as any oath he's ever sworn. A brutalised rider of a brutalised dragon, in a brutalised nation, all of them trying to work out how to exist in a world after Galbatorix. Why does this promise so bind Murtagh?
You know why.Or
This is a story about redemption, forgiveness, and restoration. It is a story of hope.
Or
Paolini left the end of the book Murtagh as a classical romance set up. It would be a crime not to use it.
