Suddenly, as you waited for Alex, an all-consuming warm, ethereal orange-tinged light shone on your back, causing a dark shadow of your figure to plaster itself against the cement, and an overwhelming euphoria to momentarily coarse through you. Someone must have been shining a flashlight on you.. Not that the glow of a flashlight had ever looked or felt like the rays that lit up the whole street, but what else could it have been? Had some creep slipped hallucinogenics into your water bottle??
“Hello Darling~” a melodic, unnaturally ringing voice filled your ears as the warmth intensified, as if whatever was behind you had stepped a few feet closer.
DISCLAIMER: I do not support this kind of relationship in real life, it’s unhealthy and reliant. This is merely a work of fiction that I thought would be fun to write, and this goes without saying but if you somehow ever meet anyone like swad in real life, run for the goddamn hills because YIKES.

Summary
Screams of terror echoed across the freezing city as flurries of dust joined that of snow, the sound grating at Cross’ mind, interrupting the countless thoughts streaming through her head. The thin, icy snow beneath her feet did little but slick up the asphalt and collect the disgusting filth of the city streets. Neon signs and lit street lamps streaked past her vision, and the clouded and glitching night sky was illuminated by burning highrises. If Cross looked hard enough, she may be able to see the vivid azure strings of the destroyer between the skyscrapers obscuring the sky.
Though, none of that particularly registered in the soldier's head as of now, albeit she wasn't particularly observant anyways. No, the sole thing she was focusing on was the glint of yellow fabric barely evading her, and the clack of gold-plated boots that accompanied it as the woman in question rounded the corner, right into an alleyway. Dream.

Summary
The clicking of heels echoed through the garden, and snapped Error from her trance. Purposeful, calculated steps alluded to the individual being Nightmare. Error sat up straighter and rested her clenched fists in her lap, faintly remembering the etiquette Nightmare had tried to convince Error to use during their first few meetings, before she had accepted Error wasn’t that keen on listening to her.
How ironic, Error thought, that she used said mannerisms only after Nightmare grew accustomed to her rebellious nature.

Nightmares Gang and The Stars had clashed in dozens of battles similar before, even before the war had begun. Though this time, an echo of finality rung through the air of Dreamtale, no matter how much it was evident that Nightmare refused to accept that it was all over.
