Summary
Lan Wangji and Jiang Cheng are two sides of the same coin; more specifically, two faces of essentially the one, singular coin—alike, and not entirely complementary.
This is a love story that shows healing. Not exactly in the absence of Wei Wuxian, nor because of Wei Wuxian or his actions, but in spite of it—where Wei Wuxian is not a void that they both try to fill with each other.

Summary
What Sasuke Uchiha wants is an indeterminate EC-02 Step 2 position with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation that offers a decent salary, health benefits, paid vacation, and a manager who won't break all his Excel spreadsheets. What he gets is Naruto Uzumaki, an improbably attractive and unbearably annoying co-op student who eats way too much instant ramen and doesn't understand that "casual Friday" doesn't mean varsity sweatpants.
Official CBC Canada Reads Selection 2019, made possible by the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ottawa Tourism Board.

Summary
When Naruto opens his eyes, he’s acutely aware of his age. It’s quite funny to think about it—when he was younger, he always woke up on his birthdays expecting to feel more adult, more grown-up, yet found he never did quite feel like he was ten until he turned eleven. Now the years have gone by, blurring into one another, and Naruto feels every bit as old as he is.

Summary
There have been no more tears. No waves buffeting Kurama’s feet; no boiling rage to draw him out.
There is only a cold, terrible resolve.
Naruto smooths his thumb over his eyelids, traces his face. Whispers things that Kurama tries, for whatever reason, not to hear.
It’ll be alright. I’ll be there soon. You won’t be lonely.
Resolve. Terrible resolve.

Summary
Above him, Sasuke leans over the edge of the pier to watch. Naruto hears him laugh and even with his face draped in shadow, he can imagine Sasuke’s cheshire grin, eyes crinkling with mirth.
He feels Sasuke smiling at him. Naruto would pluck every star from the heavens to keep that feeling.

Summary
In an effort to get his council to stop forcing the marriage issue on him, Jiang Cheng decides to scare them into submission by marching into Cloud Recesses and proposing to the First Jade of Lan himself. It's a brilliant plan really and there's no way Lan Xichen will do more than laugh at the joke. The council will shut up, Jiang Cheng's marriage annoyances will stop, Jin Ling will get to enjoy some snow, and everything will go back to normal.
So to say he's unprepared for Lan Xichen actually accepting his hand in marriage is a bit of an understatement.
--
(A slightly silly au wherein Jiang Cheng refuses to back down, Lan Xichen has a sense of humor, and Jin Ling is a spoiled ball of sunshine. Just wait until Wei Wuxian comes back to life and hears about this.)

Summary
Jiang Cheng had long made it known he was more interested in marrying his work rather than romance in general.
His mother's response? Set him up on blind dates after blind dates.
Not like he held any opinion about his love life. Heck, he'd never even thought about it. Fortunately, all of his dates were disappointed due to his less than receptiveness to their advances.
Now if only his mother wasn't so desperate to marry him off.

Summary
"All packed up!" the post says, with Wei Ying's profile picture and attached photo of several cardboard boxes, taped all over and signed 'Books', 'Clothes', and 'Diff.Shit' in Wei Ying's messy handwriting. "PS looking for a place in Chang'an to stay for a while!"
Below, Jiang Cheng has posted a stuck-out-tongue emoji; Wei Ying has answered with an emphatic 'no' and a paragraph of complaining about his 'mangy mutts' and 'damn fleabags'. Is he moving to Chang'an?
"I have a room." Lan Wangji is a quick typer, and the post is barely an hour old without any other comments, but he still fears somebody will outpace him, offer Wei Ying a place to stay first. "Need a neighbor. If you don't mind the rabbits."
