They already have matching toothbrushes because they buy them in batches, and they eat the same food at nearly every meal; and of course, they still have their old uniforms, hanging in the closet of Sakura’s room next to each other. But they’re only matching because it’s easier to buy necessities for the group, and their uniforms are gathered in a corner of Sakura’s mostly empty wardrobe to prevent wrinkles. With Chifuyu dead and Takemichi arrested, Kazutora has to make the difficult decision of either rescuing Takemichi or leaving him to rot in jail as he deserves.
In the end, it's not a difficult decision at all. Chifuyu left Takemichi with his legacy and Kazutora would die before he let Chifuyu down.
Before he can do anything, the world twists, and for a horrible second, he thinks he's dying. But then he blinks and he's staring at ratty, out-of-fashion sneakers that he wasn’t wearing a minute ago. There is a hand extended towards him with the kanji for “punishment” on the back.
