Summary
Maisie Knox is a big fan of rules. In theory, they tell her where she stands, what behavior is expected, and how to fit in. For someone who struggles to read social cues, deciphering those written and unwritten rules is a necessity to survival.
So perhaps it's not as surprising as it should be when she decides to attend OTK University, a BDSM lifestyle university that provides the classic college experience with strict discipline. Extensive paperwork, rule discussions, and negotiation before even platonic intimacy? That sounds pretty perfect for her.
But in a place that encourages- no, demands- vulnerability, she has a hard time letting go. In her experience, telling people she's autistic either leads to denial or condescension- and she might want a Daddy, but she's not interested in paternalism. But through new friends, mentors, and caregivers, Maisie gradually learns that hiding who she is doesn't keep her safe. It takes time, support, and a fair amount of spankings, but Maisie learns to let go and live honestly, embracing her role as a Little and a Brat.
