Summary
The long day in the blistering heat of Costa del Sol had been a wonderful response to the artificial chill of the ship and the events that transpired within. Aeris lounged in one of the hammocks strung up here and there along the beach as the sky darkened above her. The breeze rocked her gently, the temperature slowly falling as the sun sank below the horizon. Could she ever get sick of seeing the sky like this? Back in Midgar, vast metal plates obscured the view from the slums. Up on the plates themselves, a veil of mist forever hid the sky from her. Since she left Midgar, there was far less in the way.

Aerith clearly hired him as a bodyguard when Reno busted through, but after time passes they slowly started to get attracted to each other, who will first spill is the question that everyone has. Some think it'll be Aerith, others think it'll be Cloud. Who knows? Only they do and nobody else will.

Morning light spun everything into gold; the gauzy curtains swaying in the gentle breeze, the colorful spring blossoms in clay pots on the windowsill, the white sheets carelessly rumpled at the foot of the bed, the downy hairs trailing Cloud’s stomach, the faint freckles haloing his pale shoulders, the curve of his full lips, the length of his thick eyelashes, each strand of his cornfield-yellow hair.
THIS is what I was meaning to write! My OTP of OTPs for Clerith week. AU is that one thing didn't happen and all is as it should be. My love for backwater hick Cloud means he gets a slight twang. Good pure sweet love all morning long. Another rough because I can't resist posting these as soon as I finish drafting them.
