The whiteboard didn’t matter anymore, it was less than useless now that One had Two’s power. Fanny was surprised that she hadn’t decided to kill them all, though she wasn’t going to have the universe backtrack on her lucky break. One probably wasn’t even in their universe anymore, how did Fanny plan on stopping her with a few scraps of information and a whiteboard?
Or: Fanny is working. Her method of gathering research very much is not.

The following morning, Ken woke up terrified and cold…

He heard a voice then, and when he turned his head, he met red, tired eyes. Kazutoshi was there, in his bed. Whole and alive, his head still on his shoulders, his tongue still in his mouth… and absolutely no idea he was supposed to be dead.
Ken understood then that he was given another chance. And this time, he’d make sure Kazutoshi survived this nightmare. -
