“Is it cause you used to have a crush on me?” Mike asked, abruptly.
“What!” It was Will’s turn to blush harder, giving him a glare reserved for Mike Wheeler and Mike Wheeler only. “No. God. That was ages ago. I’ve been past that for a long time.”
Mike motioned like he’d made his point. “See? So? It wouldn’t be weird.”
So, Mike likes guys. Fine, Will can live with that. Except now Mike's worried about having fallen behind and would really like some help practicing how to kiss a guy from his also-into-guys best friend. And Will is trying really, really hard to be a good mentor to him, so what is he going to do, say no?

Mike is waiting for Will in the basement, a look of suspicious, nervous excitement on his face. He cleared the table and laid out upon it are two card games.
"Now, I know you’ll resist," Mike blurts out, stepping toward him. "But I think this will be good. For both of us! For when we... you know,” Mike trails off, “When we get partners.”
Will scoffs, stepping closer to inspect the titles.
Spill or Sip and Truth, Dare, or Strip.
Or: Mike suggests a spicy card game to help Will loosen up before college. It works a little too well, and suddenly they’re gambling with unresolved feelings, and clothes, that were meant to stay in place.

Summary
Friday Night Date Night.
The notorious night where movie-loving couples could get two tickets and an XL sharing popcorn bucket for the price of one ticket and a small popcorn. Amazing, really. A perfect way to promote date night and teen pregnancy in a small, lonely town.
Mike and Will had been using and abusing this deal for years. It was just a two-for-one offer. They saw nothing wrong with catching cheap movies wherever they could. Sure, it probably didn’t help with the bullying, and the teens trying to make a couple extra bucks scooping popcorn always gave them those looks, but it was just a deal.

OR... secret byler go on a date night thinking they would be safe from their friends. Little do they know, Lumax are already at the cinema and Henderhop is secretly on their first date!

Summary
Mike didn’t know when Steve Harrington became the person he relied on. Heavily.
Maybe it was the way Steve hovered around Dustin like a worried mother hen with shocking vocabulary. Maybe it was the fact that he kept throwing himself at Upside Down disasters armed with nothing but a bat and misplaced confidence all for the sake of just helping. Or maybe it was because Nancy Wheeler had broken up with him.
Somehow, all of Nancy’s exes became significantly cooler once she had dumped them.
Whatever the reason, Mike had started moping at the Harrington house.
A lot.

Or... Steve is like an older brother to Mike and instead of helping him constantly he seems to be distracted by a certain someone's older brother.
