    Akane Shinjou has a lot to do, now that she has decided to live in the real world and make more of her life in it. She is determined to change and to grow, but there are many challenges ahead of her. There is also the matter of her feelings towards another girl, Rikka Takarada. Will the loving bond Akane wants with her be possible? Maybe, but there are many hurdles in her path to building and sustaining it and the better, healthier life she wants to have.

    At the same time, Akane's experiences from the virtual world still linger in her mind and in her dreams and her connection to that place still exists. But perhaps there is more to that world than the escapism she's abused it for in the past. Perhaps it can be used to further connect with others in the real world. There are risks to this though and Akane must balance the possibilities of this connection with the need to avoid risking a relapse to her old ways.
